TAFE NSW, The National Indigenous Culinary Institute (NICI) and Workforce Australia Local Jobs Central West have been working closely over the past few months to bring an Indigenous focused Hospitality pre-apprenticeship program to Orange.

The Program started on the 21st of October at the orange TAFE campus with 7 people commencing the course. There were 3 successful participants who completed the course who can now begin careers in the hospitality industry as apprentice chefs following on from their work experience. On Friday, November 22, Workforce Australia Local Jobs - Central West had the pleasure of attending the graduation of the Hospitality Pre-Apprenticeship Program in Orange. Thank you to TAFE NSW and The National Indigenous Culinary Institute for making this program possible. The graduates showcased their skills by preparing a delicious gnocchi lunch and mousse for dessert. We're proud to announce that three participants successfully completed the program. Throughout the process, the participants were highly engaged and demonstrated a strong eagerness to learn. Congratulations to all involved!
